Head Coach – Coach Gabby Breese
Email: gebreese@capousd.org

Coach Breese is thrilled to begin her 11th season of coaching! She began her dance training on the East Coast in New Jersey at Jersey Cape Dance & Gymnastics Academy before moving to Southern California in middle school, where she continued her training at Dance Precisions and West Coast School of the Arts.
A proud Tesoro High School alumna, Coach Breese was a four-year member of the Tesoro Varsity Song team and served as Varsity Captain during both her junior and senior years. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, followed by her master’s degree and teaching credential from UC Irvine.
Coach Breese has been teaching mathematics at Tesoro since 2018 and began coaching with the Tesoro Song program in 2014 while still in college. She took a two-year break from coaching from 2024–2026, during which she judged local dance competitions and worked as a consultant for high school song teams preparing for Nationals.
Throughout her coaching career, Coach Breese has helped lead the Tesoro Song program to numerous State Championship titles and multiple National Championship titles. In 2024, she was honored as California Dance Coach of the Year at the CheerPros State Championships.
We are excited to welcome Coach Breese back to the Tesoro Song family! Her passion for the program, dedication to excellence, and commitment to helping every dancer build confidence and reach their full potential make her an invaluable leader and mentor.
